And to expand upon this, I really like the idea of taking the original ESO quest markers, and tweaking them and putting the yellow !/? icons on top. Unaccepted quests you have yet to pickup should be the ! icon, quest directions/turning in quests should be the ? icon. Yes, daily/repeatable quests should be blue, regular quests should be yellow. I think I accidentally commented on these old skool quest icons on the PointsOfColor comments, so I will go ahead and share my two-cents here on this. I think the best way to not be afraid of upsetting anyone is to add new possibilities without removing the previous ones. But I admit I do like the current colour. If it's the “yellorange” one, it could be nice to have the same color than the regular quests icon. If it's the blue one, it's nice because it's more or less the same color than the regular daily craft quests icon. Would it be possible/easy to have the “!” for normal quest and - let's say - “?” for "main" quests ?ĭon't ask me "Is the color ok?", I'm gonna tell you I'd prefer a customizable one for each quest icon.īut I think having the same color for “!” and “?” isn't confusing.
